Our first PTA meeting for the term will be on Monday, 5 August at 18:30 for 19:00 in the school hall. The Big Walk raffle draw will take place on this evening where all those exciting prizes will be won. All parents are welcome.

Thank you to the majority of parents and children who have paid in all their Big Walk money. To those who have not, please collect all the promised sponsorships and donations and pay this in as soon as possible in order for us to get the final figures and then arrange the Prize Giving. Our aim is to have all money paid in by the end of July in order to finalize the many arrangements that have to be made before the Prize Giving (including the purchasing of all the prizes for the children according to the various categories).

All Big Walk raffle lists and money are to be returned to school by 29 July.

It is once again that time of the year where we would like to initiate our annual soup drive in honour of Nelson Mandela’s birthday (18 July) and the ”67 minutes” campaign synonymous with the day. In order to do our bit as a school to contribute towards this worthy campaign, we ask all parents to donate a packet or tin of soup during next week, towards our "Soup Drive". The items collected will be sent to various charity organisations within the community and will definitely make a difference in the lives of some less fortunate people, during these cold winter days.
