Dear Parents

“There is no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy

to helping others without expecting anything in return.”

MANDELA DAY - SOUP COLLECTION

We plead with our families to please donate a packet of soup. The soup packets will be given to those families in need in our community. Together we can show our ‘Madiba’ spirit!

TEST WEDNESDAY

A reminder that our Grade 4 – 7 learners will write Afrikaans on Wednesday, 24 July. Please ensure that your child is at school on time as no extra time will be given to children who arrive late for the test period.

PTA MEETING - RAFFLE DRAW

Our first PTA meeting for the term will be on Monday, 5 August at 18:30 for 19:00 in the school hall. The Big Walk raffle draw will take place on this evening where all those exciting prizes will be won. All parents are welcome.

BIG WALK

Thank you to the majority of parents and children who have paid in all their Big Walk money. To those who have not, please collect all the promised sponsorships and donations and pay this in as soon as possible in order for us to get the final figures and then arrange the Prize Giving. Our aim is to have all money paid in by the end of July in order to finalize the many arrangements that have to be made before the Prize Giving (including the purchasing of all the prizes for the children according to the various categories).

All Big Walk raffle lists and money are to be returned to school by 29 July.
